Biography

Callinaz is a young band from south of Sweden with a clear profile and its own sound, the band is playing around Sweden and has in recent years become one of Norway's most popular bands. The music that is played is a mix of swing, rock'n'roll and rockabilly in a sound inspired by the 50's, dating to today's popular music. The band has previously received prestigious nominations and award! Carolina, one of the few female conductors in Sweden, was nominated in the Guldklaven for this year's singer in 2013 and 2016 and won the year's radiant musician in Guldsladden in 2012. Andreas was nominated the same year for the year's drummer in Guldsladden and the band was nominated for this year's band. Callinaz also won Sweden's radio prize as the year's newcomers in the prestigious award Guldklaven 2014.
