Biography

Merchant Ships was a band with members hailing from both South Bend, IN and Sturgis, MI. Brought together after the end of their respective earlier projects the band went on to record several demos and EP’s with the final one being For Cameron, which was released on a wider scale with the help of Count Your Lucky Stars. Despite a well received East coast tour and growing buzz the band decided to call it quits, and it’s members went on to form several iconic bands that are now standards in the Midwest Emo lexicon. Despite not having played a show in nearly a decade the band continues to remain an underground favorite to many and lives on in the annuals of meme format jokes and hearts around the world.
