Biography

Born in Ireland, Tom moved to England at seven years old. A shy and introverted kid, he was inspired and fell in love with the music he would hear in his Father’s car. In his late teens, Tom became obsessed with American songwriters. He credits Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen, Ryan Adams and Jason Isbell as the biggest influences on his songwriting. Tom is known for his love of sad songs. His honest, emotional and impactful lyrics reflect his own real life experiences and those of people he knows. Warm melodies and subtle pianos are often offset by angry, emotional guitars with the story at the heart of everything he writes. Having hidden away at the back of the stage playing rhythm guitar in blues rock bands for years, 2020’s global pandemic and subsequent lockdown gave Tom the opportunity to step forward and bring to life the stories that introverted kid always wanted to tell. Tom’s debut album ‘The Fog’ was released in October 2020. The follow-up ‘A Cold Day in Hell’ dropped just twelve months later. His third record in three years ‘Roots’ landed in October 2022 and is made in collaboration with artists from all over the world.
