Biography

Focusing on the alternative side of rap, Surf prolifically documents day-to-day life in Atlanta, Georgia incorporating trap and other contemporary variants of the genre. After developing a unique style on several self-released mixtapes, Surf has gone to create a sound for himself while expressing his stories over new generation style sonics. Born in Mobile, Alabama and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, Surf was catapulted into a life of struggle and self-discovery after the loss of his home in 2018. While navigating his way through the streets of Atlanta, he was able to reside with friends in East Atlanta which he says played an important role of his growth and maturity. Throughout this journey, he built a name for himself on the internet with some of his most notable tracks such as, "Fight", "Itsokay2cry", and "Mirror". He also created his own lane with his "Bad Human" series over the years which documented his struggle and growth through his structured musical journalism. In January 2020, Surf was unfortunately greeted with the death of his mother. Since then, he has been expressing himself and how he has been dealing and adjusting to life through a number of projects and singles. As of 2023 he released his career bending project "Good Human" which entails his self-discovery as he has become a better person over the years.
