Biography

ELCHIVO was formed in 2018. The band begins as a project of Marco Gil, member and founder of Malingo, in which Gil wanted to create innovative sounds and forms of rock, stoner & doom. For this task he decides to invite Stefan Berdem, who already serves as a drummer for Maligno. With this hard duo they begin to write the first riffs and beats of what would become ELCHIVO. The third to join the band was Viin Angelini, a young voice, yet one of the most talented vocalists of his generation on the local and national scene. Finally after several attempts, the band recruits long-time friend, musician and producer Roi Zerda, the circle would be closed. ELCHIVO now presents their self-titled debut album. This LP is available on all streaming services as well as some physical forms. The band will be touring during 2019 - 2020 throughout cities across Mexico.
