Biography

The Noise is an alternative rock band based out of Peterborough, Ontario, Canada. The band consists of lead singer/guitarist Kash Majd and drummer Matt Laffrenier, who were oddly brought together when Kash moved onto the same street as Matt and heard there was a drummer living a couple houses over. They jammed and the rest is history. Since then, The Noise has played covers together and written originals. Both band members have strong political beliefs and hope to use their music to change the world for the better, inspired by bands in the past such as Rage Against the Machine, The Stooges, and System Of A Down. Their music is characterized by its high energy and socially conscious lyrics. The Noise's sound is a blend of classic rock, punk, and metal, with Kash's powerful vocals and guitar riffs complemented by Matt's driving beats. Their live performances are known for their raw energy and high-octane delivery, making them a must-see act for fans of alternative rock.
