Biography
British hip-hop crew who garnered attention via their debut, ‘Style Wars’, on Simon Harris’ Music Of Life label, going on to record for Ice-T’ s Rhyme Syndicate. Ice-T had been doing a interview for Capitol Radio when the band’s ‘Hold No Hostage’ was played to him. Reactions to the voice of Kamanchi Sly, a powerful MC, have often been positive, and their stage show is very effective. They also earned themselves a little celebrity via their ‘Don’t Go With Strangers’ warning to young children. DJ Supreme from the band (who also include DJ Undercover, Agent Clueso, Agent Fritz and Ulysees) also released superior breakbeat albums like 1992’s Stolen Beats And Ripped Off Samples.
