Biography
A Los Angeles native who later operated out of New Jersey, he made inroads through work with Kendrick Lamar, Ty Dolla $ign, and Mac Miller. Around the turn of the 2010s, he began to issue a prolific quantity of his own material. His higher profile releases, and numerous download-only projects, include the Energy EP (2011), the MoRuf collaboration Euphoria (2012), (Vibe)rations (2013), Samadhi EP (2014) and High-Loops & Higher-Loops (2015). The song "Omari's Mood" from Omari’s 2015 release was used during the beginning of Lamar's February 2016 performance at the 58th Grammy Awards. During that year, Omari helped Produce Cavalier's Lemonade. Presently, Omari has released his latest effort, IHY LP (2017) via his own imprint Vibe Music Collective.
