Biography

"Padecer" was very well received by specialized critics, earning praise from magazines such as Roadie Crew, Raro Zine, Canal Scena and figures such as João Gordo, among others. In 2021, Payback released the video "Ao Vivo no Matriz", which marks the return of the post-pandemic band in a presentation that marks the farewell to one of the most iconic venues in Belo Horizonte. In 2022, after shows in southern Brazil, drummer Lilo leaves the band, Thiago Pena (Mata Borrão) takes over the drumsticks and the quartet enters the studio to record their second album, scheduled for release in the first half of 2023.
