Biography
Matthew Mole is a singer-songwriter from South Africa. His unique sound started out as a perfect, eclectic blend of folk with electronic undertones. Matthew’s debut album, ‘The Home We Built’ was released in 2013 and his second album, ‘Run’ was released in 2016. Both albums topped the South African iTunes Chart upon its release. With 6 SAMA nominations to his name, Matthew has played at most of South Africa's major festivals, supported international bands such as Bastille and Of Monsters And Men, as well as have performed on international stages across The USA, United Kingdom, Thailand and Russia. July 2016 saw the release of platinum selling artist Matthew’s highly anticipated second album, entitled RUN. The album was released on 22 July, and came after the release of the title track and its music video. The music video hit the #1 spot on Apple Music while the single steadily held down the #2 position on the iTunes ZA All Genre Chart upon release. The album debuted at #1 on the day of it's release.
