Voxlight is a Romanian EDM band that started out in 2006. They were first known as Voxis and, initially, they were an electro-pop band. In time they enhanced their sound together with their life-long producer George Hora from Studio 66. In 2009 the band was signed by Cat Music and their first single was To the Moon, one of the most appreciated hits of the times. It was a featuring with DJ Andy and the video presented the band as airline pilots casting flight attendants. The song spent several weeks in the no 1 position of the Romanian Top 40 Hits. Their second hit was Tell Me Everything, which is still broadcasted by radio stations in their country. I Just Wanna is their third hit and it was considered to be one of the best international Romanian songs.In 2012, the band line-up changes, and the sound of Voxlight becomes more dance-oriented. Several collaborations emerge, including the one with the beautiful Kamelia. In 2014, Never Let You Go is released together with the video-a game of shadows, and ever-changing stillness Two years later, Lolita is released and again reaches an international audience making it the most successful song of the band. Today Voxlight is shaped by George Hora, Andrei Ardelean and Bogdan S. Buzatu. The band experiments with EDM, retro feelings, and future adventures to express parts of the unseen, to reassure their friends that music is never a done deal, but always a soothing surprise!
