Biography
Latin rock band from Argentina los Caballeros de la Quema was formed in 1989, issuing its first independent record, called Primavera Negra, in 1991. After signing up to Iguana Records, a BMG associate label, the group released Manos Vacías in 1993. Soon after, the band had the opportunity to open for Joaquín Sabina and later for Aerosmith and the Cult, while these international acts were touring South America. In 1994, los Caballeros de la Quema recorded Sangrando. In addition, the band contributed with a song called "Hola Frank" to Sumo's tribute album. Singer/songwriter León Gieco participated in the band's 1996 album Perros, Perros, Perros, followed by successful La Paciencia de la Araña in 1998. Fulanos de Nadie was issued in mid-2001. ~ Drago Bonacich, Rovi
