Depending on who you ask, JLS is a boy band from the UK or a metal band from Santo Domingo/NY/Zaragoza. JLS Jodio Loco Sucio ( the initials stood for that but since the rise and demise of Jack the Lad Swing aka as JLS, the group had to add the Jodio Loco Sucio) is a rock act led by NYC native Leo Susana. The band was formed in Santo Domingo where Susana resided for many years and helped co-found dominican rock band Toque Profundo. JLS had a short lived NY phase and when Susana moved to Spain he reformed the band there. JLS has 3 official studio albums, Testigos de la Historia, Serpiente en el Huerto, and Un Año de Odio... Un Siglo de Miedo. In 1998 JLS released a live album, Patra 3 Ruinas de San Francisco, and in 2007 they released Crudo recorded live in Zaragoza, Spain. JLS's music ranges from metal hard rock power trio riffing tunes to acoustic ballads.
