Biography

A composer and producer with diverse musical affinities within the realm of Electronic music, Etyen has, since his debut, released multiple solo EPs, singles, remixes and collaborations, with a diverse but consistently engaging sound, from Cinematic and Downtempo to Electronica and Techno. He has been a key member in the modern Lebanese music scene, with a unique sound and an eclectic catalogue that saw him tour and perform at the likes of Rbma Montreal Festival, Sonar Barcelona, Mutek, and many more over the last 8 years. In 2022, Etyen celebrates the release of his first full length album "Untitled", releasing on November 22, inaugurating a new era of sonic discovery for the artist and a harbinger of more good things to come. "A composer, producer and sound designer, Etyen wears many hats. There’s a through line to the Beirut-based musician’s work, though: A heavy dose of emotion. Etyen counts Sigur Rós as one of his foremost influences, and you can hear their sweeping grandeur in nearly everything he does. “Indie, electronica something” is how he modestly explains his sound.
