Biography

On the power heavy metal highway since 2006, Mythika from Paraguay had released to date, one demo, one E.P, one single and is on the verge of releasing by early 2021 their first full length album. Since their early days and despise line up changes and the difficulties of being a heavy metal band from a country with no support platform for their very productive musical scene, the band has achieved a lot through their hard work, their originality and their ever increasing musical quality. Having the honour to be opening act for the great metal bands that had played in their home country as well as being the first band form Paraguay that had played in Europe. 
 MYTHIKA will release their album UNHOLY GLORY on all available digital platforms (Spotify, Apple Music, Deezer, Youtube, etc.) The concept album recreates the lived experiences, of all in general and none in particular, tribes of aboriginal population during the early phases of the conquest of the Americas. In a rich musical journey, the band unfolds some of the aspects of that dark and harrowing era where two diametrically opposed worlds collided, seen this time through the eyes of the conquered. The album consist of thirteen tracks, divided in four acts, each acts opens with an introduction named after the year on which the story is taking place.
