Biography

I am Celestine Donkor. I am a gospel songstress, a conference speaker, entrepreneur, author and composer. I am a household name within the gospel music circles in Ghana and beyond. I am known for my inspirational and soul-lifting songs which transcends beyond tribal barriers in Ghana as I sing in English, Twi, Ewe and Ga languages. My motivational and dynamic attributes, coupled with my sonorous voice and years of collaboration with several renowned musicians across the continent of Africa such as Steve Crown of Nigeria, Mary-Jane of South Africa, Mkhululi Bhebhe of Zimbabwe, Evelyn Wanjiru and many more have earned me the recognition as one of Ghana’s most versatile and unique gospel minstrels in Ghana. I have six albums and three singles to my credit and have been nominated and won several awards in the prestigious Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA). Some of my very popular songs include Adekyea mu nsem, Supernatural, Manim nguase, Turning Around, Okronkronhene, Bigger, Agebebolo, Favor Everywhere and many others. I have an impressive following on social media. I have over five hundred thousand following on Facebook and over two hundred and fifty thousand on Instagram. I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Ghana and married with three daughters.
