Biography

Dominican, American rapper, singer, and songwriter, from Miami, Florida. Anthony Mejia-Hernandez, otherwise known as Swízzy started rapping as early as 8-9 years old. In third grade, Swízzy began writing poems in elementary and had his first performance at Pine Villa’s talent show. With the positive feedback and reactions from the audience, Swízzy knew that music was definitely his calling! Therefore, Swízzy continued writing songs and performing them all throughout middle school and high school! Every chance he got to perform, he went for it! In late 2015, Swízzy started recording and releasing his music to all streaming platforms. In 2016, After graduating high school, Swízzy dropped two mixtapes on SoundCloud, “On The Rise” and “No Days Off.” Swízzy continued dropping new music ever since with his EP, “Press Play” in 2018 and his project “Melodic Desire” in 2019. 
 Swízzy’s music is very R&B influenced. “Melodic Desire” his most recent mixtape, showcases his versatility as an artist from R&B to the multiple sub-genres of Hip-Hop, like Melodic Rap. “RUN IT UP” his latest track is out now!
