Ara Johari started to achieve mainstream success through Akademi Fantasia season 13 and managed to grab the fourth place in the show. She began her career in the music industry through the songs "Warkah Untukku", "Bunga" and "Paku". The lyrics for the song "Paku" were written by Ara herself. She subsequently managed to place herself in the 32nd Song Champion Award through the song "Warkah Untukku". Ara once again managed to place herself in the 33rd Song Champion Award through the song "Bunga". Thanks to the hard work of Ara and her group, this song managed to win the runner-up title.
