Biography

AKI is an mc from Sweden who’s been in the rap game for a while now. As a part of the reggae/hip hop group Labyrint but also as a solo artist. Born to a Finnish mother and an African-American/English father and raised in Gottsunda/Uppsala ,until he at the age of 19 moved to Alby/Botkyrka south of Stockholm where he hooked up with legendary producers Masse and Salla and eventually signed to their label redline recordings. AKI is an mc known for socially conscious lyrics and storytelling from a ghetto perspective. With many years in hip hop and big hits with Labyrint such as Fakkin fin ,chilla lide ,Ortens favoriter , but also solo, such as the mega-hit and hip hop-record breaking när solen går ner that features KaptenRöd and his much appreciated solo albums.
