“All Hail” — used to express greeting, welcome or acclamation... 
 Growing up in Killeen, Texas. Y.T. was influenced by the slowed down or “Screwed” music that radiated from the Cadillacs crawling down the streets. His mother, an aspiring artist herself, kept a library of music. The household boasted an array of East Coast Hip Hop from Biggie to Jay- Z, Nas & Wu-Tang. To West Coast artists such as Dr. Dre, Snoop & Spice 1. All of these simmered together with the southern sounds of U.G.K. & OutKast to create Y.T.’s eclectic palate. At 17 he moved to Delaware to reconnect with his Father who was being released from prison. There, he continued to hone his skills. Not long after, Y.T. was discovered and signed by Scarface of the legendary “Gheto Boys” with a group composed of his childhood friends. They went on to release an album titled “Scarface Presents: Green City..” through SMC/Universal. After, Y.T. went on to sign a solo contract with DJ Clue & his Desert Storm imprint, while starting his own labels (State City Music/ Financed Buy Dope). Throughout his music, You feel the raw imagery and stories painted by his lyrics. His slick word play and smooth tone lulls and delights snooty rap connoisseurs. Y.T. holds nothing back, revealing his truest self within his music, Which has endeared him to his supporters. Who he warmly calls...Family. Y.T. is one of the greatest jewels of this generation.
