    Biography

    Born in north Minneapolis Zechariah Yishai Oluwabankole Levine was surrounded by musical talent and musical greatness. An avid musician he began drumming at a young age as well as playing the cello, before falling in love with musical writing and performance. Over the course of years the musician and athlete honed his talents in freestyle battles, eventually landing him on BET’s 106 and Park under the name “Germane Champagne.” After taking a hiatus from music to grow spiritually , he moved to Israel , enrolled in a Yeshiva (Ohr Somayach) and converted to Judaism. Now as a dual citizen he has released 5 albums since April 2020, “What’s The Hechsher”, “Kiss The Mezuzah”, “Cholv Yisroel Feta Cheese” and “Jerusalem Jollof” and “ Thoughts Of A Toiler” !
