Biography
Newham has seen the growth of UK legends, the likes of Nasty Crew, D Double E, and Kano. Now it is time for the new generation; whilst always drawing inspiration from those who came before him, Myers is forging his own path in the rap game. Brought into the game by Zeph Ellis (aka Dot Rotten), Myers claims Ellis was the only person that made time for him, kept him around & taught him how to navigate the industry. Starting out writing over grime beats, Myers found his rhythm on the streets & in youth clubs with his peers. Although Myers conforms to no particular genre, his lyricism will always reflect the realities that he has lived. From garage to drill to road rap, Myers can do it all. Releasing “Won’t Stop” featuring LD (67) saw the start of a serious musical journey in 2018. The mixtape 'Motorway Music' came shortly after, along with his first show at Tobacco Dock in November of that year. Further adding to his catalogue with “Secure That Bag” & a Hardest Bars freestyle, Myers then released the renowned “Common Kid”. Featured on UK TV show ‘Top Boy’, the track saw the acclaim it deserved. Myers’ talent & influence is in no way limited to the realm of the music industry. Football fanatic, his support for West Ham is unbeknownst to few; Myers stays true to his roots. The East London rapper is also easily recognised as the poster boy for KING clothing apparel. His upcoming tape ‘Overdue’ is one to look out for in 2020, as Myers quickly rises to the top of the game.
