Biography

A Montreal native, Fernie is inspired by mutually soulful artists. His jubilant Brazilian-Canadian ethnicity shines through his vulnerable lyrics and powerful melodies. As you experience his enchanting musical offerings, there is an evident juxtaposition within his genre shifts.His unique, eclectic sound continues to grow with every consecutive project. 
 Singing since he was a child, Fernie branched out in 2015 and self wrote and produced “The Acoustic EP”. Releasing it on Soundcloud, it has gained a fair amount of popularity within the city of Montreal, especially in the West Island area. The EP has provided Fernie with a solid musical foundation to move forward onto new material and continue on the rise. Fernie is now part of a Montreal collective: KIDS FROM THE UNDERGROUND with artists such as Samaether, Hxx and Housefly, to name a few. His newer releases feature production and vocals from various members of the collective.
