Biography

Started professional activities in 2002. Participated in recording hundreds of albums and commercials. The early leader unit “Shima & Shikou DUO” has released 4 works. As a trumpet piano DUO organization, they performed at FujiRockFes07 and Tokyo Jazz 08, won first place on the nationwide Tower Records J-JAZZ chart, and made their major debut. Released 4 albums as a band “Silent Jazz Case” that mainly plays original songs. The cover album “Jazzin' R&B - Hot & Smooth Selection” has been an exceptional long hit that has stayed at the top of the iTunes jazz chart for more than 10 years since its release. Taking this opportunity, he was involved in many works as a producer. For the 4-part jazz-return album “Blowing Meikyoku” series, he regularly tours dozens of cities both domestically and internationally, making it his life’s work. 2002年から本格的にプロ活動を開始。これまでに数百タイトルのアルバム・CM録音に参加。 初期のリーダーユニット"Shima & Shikou DUO"では4作品をリリース。トランペットピアノＤＵＯ編成としては異例のFujiRockFes07、東京ジャズ08への出演、全国タワーレコードJ-JAZZチャート1位獲得、メジャーデビュー、などの快挙を果たした。オリジナル曲メインのバンド"Silent Jazz Case"としてもアルバムを4作リリース。カヴァーアルバム"Jazzin' R&B - Hot & Smooth Selection"は発売から10年以上iTunesジャズチャート上位に居続ける異例のロングヒットを記録中。これを機に多作品にプロデューサーとして関わる。ジャズ回帰アルバム「名曲を吹く」シリーズ4部作では、国内・海外も含め数十都市のツアーを定期的に行い、ライフワークとなっている。
