Biography
From the basketball court in high school to Enviyon Studios, where the late Juice WRLD recorded his six times platinum "Lucid Dreams," Chicago native AMG Dolo discovered a dream of his own through the world of music. While he recently collaborated with 21 Savage's Slaughter Gang, multi-platinum producer Kid Hazel on "Savage Sh*t," AMG Dolo is best known for his 2022 viral release "Corrupted Files," where his fans adopted the mantra "Why don't you speak?" It has amassed over 5 million streams, and sent his hashtag #amgdolo trending on TikTok with over 7 million views. Recently making his first editorial playlist with his June 2023 release "Rain" on Apple Music's BaseLine, Dolo is more motivated than ever to keep cooking up fresh music for his fans. Dolo started in late 2021, recording music on his iPhone using a popular social music platform. After gaining traction, he quickly became recognized for pioneering a new sound and his unique ability to cross genres with his music seamlessly. His body of work often serves up a unique mix between chill vibes like "WOLO Lyfe" and an ambient melodic banger like "Ride Wimme" with the occasional drill record like "Dark Nights" or "Do What I Want." Even dabbling in the alternative rap genre with songs like the popular "Hook Reaper" has allowed Dolo to experiment freely and resonate with a broad fanbase.
