Biography
PREME’s vision eclipses both borders and genres. The multi platinum Toronto rapper, producer, executive, A&R, and Founder of Reps Up Records delivers songs primed to pop off in any corner of the globe. He always brought audiences together though. Following a series of buzzing mixtapes under his original moniker P Reign, he delivered the Dear America EP during 2014. The lead single “DnF” [feat. Drake & Future] was a fan favorite that garnered global attention and took home “Hip Hop Video of the Year” at the 2015 Much Music Video Awards. Meanwhile, “Realest in the City” [feat. Meek Mill & PARTYNEXTDOOR] elevated him to #1 on the Billboard Emerging Artists Chart. In 2018, he joined forces with Tiësto, Dzeko, and Post Malone for the double-platinum banger “Jackie Chan.” Simultaneously, his full-length debut, Light of Day, yielded bangers such as “Can’t Hang” [feat. PARTYNEXTDOOR, “Hot Boy” [feat. Lil Wayne], and “Callin’” [feat. Ty Dolla $ign]. Along the way, he handled A&R for Drake’s record-breaking quintuple-platinum opus Scorpion and produced the standout “Is There More.” After generating hundreds of millions of streams and receiving acclaim from Complex, XXL, HipHopDX, and many more, he serves up a series of intercontinental bangers on his collaborative EP with Popcaan entitled Link Up [Reps Up Entertainment/EMPIRE] led by the single “Comfortable” [feat. Davido].
