Biography
Tired Violence, the solo project of Richmond, VA based musician Tyler Morris, aims to revitalize the sound of yesterday’s post-hardcore and bridge the gap between generations of alternative music fans. Combining the familiar sounds of pioneers such as Underoath, Saosin, and Attack Attack! with modern production and style, Tired Violence invokes a sense of nostalgia while never falling out of style or rehashing formulaic soundscapes or structure. Tired Violence is on a mission to prove that post-hardcore and metalcore were never a phase, but a way of life and a sound that’s here to stay. As shown with their latest single, “What Is Today, But Yesterday’s Tomorrow?” which is based off a small snippet he created on TikTok which has gone viral on both there and Facebook. The song is now available on all music platforms and on Spotify’s playlist, New Core.
