A pioneer with her own style, Duffy’s music pays sincere homage to the roots, soul, blues, and rock traditions, enriched with some delicate Celtic elements. A three-time Blues Matters magazine Writers’ Poll winner (Best Female Vocalist, 2014, 2015; Best Solo Artist, 2015), Duffy was also named Best Modern Roots Artist in the 2021 Independent Blues Awards. An international touring artist, Duffy’s festival performance history includes Glastonbury, Tremblant International, Mahindra Blues, Notodden Blues, and more. She has also played on live BBC sessions and TV performances. Duffy’s professional career began in 2007 with the release of her remarkable debut album, Out Of The Dark. Test Of Time, her sophomore album, was a collaboration with producer Niko Bolas (Melissa Etheridge, Los Lobos) released in 2011. Where I Belong, recorded and produced in the US by Justin Stanley (Eric Clapton, Sheryl Crow) followed in 2017, with the official video reaching #1 on the DittyTV chart.
