Biography
JEFF SCOTT SOTO From Heavy Metal to Funk to AOR and Pop, Jeff Scott Soto is a name that is hailed throughout the music industry as one of the most influential arltists of the 21st Century! Jeff started at the ripe age of 18 fronting Yngwie Malmsteen for 2 albums, Rising Force and Marching Out in '84-85. He fronted a few bands including Eyes and Japanese guitarist Kuni until founding the band Talisman with partner Marcel Jacob in 1990. In 1994, JSS released his 1st solo album, Love Parade which led to future releases Prism (2002), Lost In The Translation (2005), Beautiful Mess (2008), Damage Control (2012) and now Retribution (2107). In 2005, Jeff fronted a group with Neal Schon called Soul SirkUS which led to him fronting Journey from 2006-2007. 2008 saw Jeff's involvement with the Trans-Siberian Orchestra in which he currently resides with 10 year later. 2017 sees another release with Jeff fronting a new supergroup called Sons Of Apollo which features Mike Portnoy, Billy Sheehan, Derek Sherinian and Bumblefoot, the album Psychotic Symphony is also released in 2017.
