Biography

Born out of Emmanuel Community in Brisbane, Emmanuel Worship has been a force of renewal in the Australian Catholic Church since 2001 - seeing many personnel changes over that time but keeping its central vision the same, to bring wholehearted worship to the Church and the world. Since 2017's Ventus (Noise from Heaven), Emmanuel Worship have been releasing annual live worship albums of original music. After standout songs that reached the globe like the 99K streamed Hurricane, they followed up with 2018's Fifteen - which featured In the Light and modern-hymn Jesus I Adore. 2019's Glory cemented a sound that is unapologetic and centered while taking on traditional and modern influences with hits like I Can Be. Emmanuel Worship's new album in 2021 He Is Moving is pioneering a new sound once again for the Australian Catholic Church.
