Biography

Hailing from Chepstow, in South Wales (UK) Black Lakes create a sound on the boundaries between melodic hard rock and alternative metal, drawing on a wide range of influences from across both scenes. Their debut album FOR ALL WE'VE LEFT BEHIND was recorded in the Welsh capital with premier hard rock and metal producer Romesh Dodangoda (Motörhead, Bullet For My Valentine, Funeral For A Friend) and was released on the 22/02/2022 to critical acclaim. Their latest single VERITY IN FLAMES has been picked up across national radio including Johnny Doom at Kerrang! Radio ERB and the BBC.   The band have been named both a GREAT MUSIC STORIES band of the year and LIVE band of the year following a critically acclaimed redux set released exclusively for the Wildfire festival.
