Biography

Stay Out started in 2017 as a scrappy Oakland, CA based punk threesome with catchy, melodic power punk bursts. Grant Pack and Mason McGeorge, who started the band, are also its main songwriters and singers (yes, two singers)! They are a 1-2 punch of creativity, personality and fun. After getting a new drummer (Nate Reynoso), Stay Out released their 2nd full length, “Always Late” in 2019. The songs show a tighter band, brimming with radio potential, cranking out blistering performances of maturing songs… influenced by their SF Bay Area punk forefathers as well as other OG trailblazers… you’re well on your way to understanding the appeal and talent behind Stay Out. Expanding on their sound, they added a 2nd guitarist (Carl Pospiech of The Creepoids) later that year and started work on their next release. This collection of songs shows a continued maturation of their songwriting without losing anything in its buzzsaw power, melody and fun.
