Biography
UK-based Colombian artist OKRAA can be heard producing a wide spectrum of electronic styles, spanning Electro and Breaks, UK Garage, Latin-infused experiments and synthesizer-heavy Ambient. Through the years his work has been played on platforms like BBC Radio 1, BBC Music 6, KEXP, NTS Radio, and Rinse FM. Press outlets like Resident Advisor, DJ MAG, Mixmag, and VICE, have covered his releases. During his career, he has performed at Pop-Kultur Festival (Berlin), SXSW (Austin, TX), Mutek, Festival Estéreo Picnic and has toured through the UK, Germany, Austria, Sweden, Spain, Slovakia, Mexico, and Colombia. His tracks have been played by the likes of Dave Clarke, Busy P, Skream, Asquith, and more. With more dance-floor focused releases on esteemed labels such as Lobster Theremin, Holding Hands, Superlux and Neo Violence under the Laudrup moniker, Juan’s OKRAA alias has laid ambition to cover many unrestricted styles moving forward.
