Biography

Hailing from West Philadelphia, Jay Saif started his career just the age of 9, learning music production and songwriting all at the same time. By the age of 16, Saif was releasing mixtapes, vying for recognition in the city as one of the youngest, most prominent upcoming artists. At 21, He released one of his most notable projects, “S.A.I.F” which made its way to Philadelphia local radio after winning a music competition, landing him more opportunities to showcase his versatility with production and artistry. In 2014, Saif released “UNDRTD EP” on his 24th birthday and realized he needed to revamp himself, and then took a hiatus. With many failed attempts at coming back due to his mental health and dropping singles here and there, by October 2020, Saif released “And For The Record...”, and with so much positive feedback, his resurgence seems to spark the ability to once again, gain the respect and recognition for his artistry he’s been reaching for.
