Like a renaissance painting, a french morning or an old Hollywood diva, Vaarin bears an old soul. It’s in the way she talks, the way she performs, in her every gesture, her style and her music. Now she sings about a hunger for love and intimacy - all kinds of, in friendship, with strangers, with yourself, gained and lost, forever and fleeting. Hearing Vaarin sing and seeing her perform is uncomfortable. She touches something in you that you thought you had tightly tucked away so you wouldn’t have to deal with it.
