Biography
As many similar artists, Brazilian Orlando Morais started playing piano at a very young age, participated in school parties, and was also captivated by acting. At the age of 17, the young man moved to Rio de Janeiro to study law. Around that time, he had the opportunity to participate in a contest organized by a local music conservatory, coming in first place after leaving behind 500 competitors. Soon after, Orlando Morais decided to settle down in Portugal, later moving to France. When returning to Brazil, the artist formed a band called Cavalo de Troia. It was in 1990 when Orlando Morais decided to go on his own, starting his solo career with a self-titled album, followed by A Rota Do Individuo. In 1997, the musician achieved the Brazilian Quality Award in recognition of the quality of his work. ~ Drago Bonacich, Rovi
