Biography

Lalnunkenga Chuaungo, Manuna is an artist/songwriter and the frontman of Hard Ray, his work has elements from folk, pop and rock genres and has a nice accolade to show off his success - his Chapter One album was named "Album of The Year" in 2011 by Lelte Weekly and he has been named Artist of The Year in 2015-16 by the artist guild, Music Domain Mizoram, which also gave him the title of Best Group/Duo of The Year in 2019 for his collaborative work (I Leng Dun Zel Ang) with another renowned artist - Feli Fanai. He won his second Lelte Award in 2016 as Male Singer of The Year. Manuna was born in Behliangchhip, Zampui in Tripura and started singing at an early age, his live performances of Jon Bon Jovi's 'Bed Of Roses', Skid Row's '18 & Life' and 'I Remember You - Live 1992', and Pantera's 'Cemetary Gates' during his college days back in the mid-2000s garnered him a lot of fame and is what shaped him into the artist he is today.
