Biography

Debuting with Catharsis, Withdrones began as a metal band dabbling in atmospheric sounds that showed off their talent for writing hooks and executing them flawlessly. Follow up singles Survive and Misery saw the band delve deeply into production and electronics and visiting new aspects of older lyrical themes such as love and self critique. Removing all ties to specific styles and choosing instead to focus on one clear goal, create music that is powerful, lyrically honest and diverse, Withdrones continue down a path of sonic exploration and realisation of the self.
