Biography
In the 90s, journalist Carlos Albuquerque said that “no packaging - sweet, bitter, light, without salt - could be applied to Acabou La Tequila, the band formed by Venatinho Renenoso (guitar and voice); Leo “Massacre Completo” (drums and percussion); Kassin (guitar and vocals); Nervous (drums and voice); and Donida (bass and voice). That the sound was so client and spicy, that it should come with a bottle of water. Acabou La Tequila's history goes back to the beginning of that decade, when eleven out of ten bands from Rio de Janeiro met at the legendary Groove studio (led by producer Ronaldo Pereira, ex-Finis Africae) to experience their first steps in rehearsals, with consequent recording in the historic portable recorder of four channels in the house. It was from him that the first demo tapes of bands like Planet Hemp, Dash, Beach lizards, False English, Dogs in Orbit, among many others, were born. And ALT, who had school friends Bacalhau, Donida, João Callado, Venatinho and Perna, at the time, was not left out of this. Another reminiscence that could not be mentioned is related to the festival Super Demo, produced by producer Elza Cohen - today a photographer - who ended up joining as a band manager at the beginning, already with the drummer Nervoso, instead of Bacalhau, who went to dedicate himself , full time, to Planet Hemp.
