Biography
Vic Cracknell is an award winning singer songwriter and professional musician from Farnham, Surrey in the UK. Vic has four album releases being Nowhere To Somewhere, Voice Of Love, Rediscover and his latest album Kindness. Vic's songs take in a number of influences ranging from the great American Songbook to classic singer songwriters such as Lennon/McCartney, Paul Simon, Stevie Wonder, Elton John, Neil Young, Tom Petty, Carole King and Billy Joel. Memorable melodic songs are the goal - love is often the theme and looking after the environment around us. Vic plays gigs mainly around Surrey, Hampshire and the south-east. He also has the Vic Cracknell Swing Band which plays a mix of well known swing, rock'n'roll & latin tunes. He hosts his popular Vic's Buskers Open Mic's, the Rustic Stage at Weyfest Music Festival and the acoustic stage at Staycation, Godalming.
