Luke Friend is a 24 year old singer/songwriter from the U.K. With a distinctive look and a very distinctive powerful, raspy high ranged vocal, his acoustic driven songs are filled with soul, love, heartbreak and happiness. Luke delivers a quirky edge towards his production on the record. With the right amount of emotion and high energetic thrills during each track not forgetting to amplify the meaning behind his very personal lyrics throughout. He’s certainly not in unfamiliar territory when he strips everything back to the bare bones of just a man and his guitar. Inspired by many idols all the way from John Mayer, Elton John to the likes of Fleetwood Mac just to name a few. Luke's first single "Hole In My Heart" reached the top 40 in the U.K charts and he also supported The Vamps on their first U.K arena tour. Luke has recently starred as St. Jimmy in the 10th Anniversary UK & New Zealand Tour of Green Day’s American Idiot. Following this, he recently teamed up with 'Movember' releasing a cover of 'Califronia Dreamin' raising money for one of the world's leading men's mental health charities. His next single release is the most personal yet, 'WONDER' out 29th of May.
