Biography
After representing Belgium at the 2010 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, Jill Shaw kicked off her solo career in 2012. Inspired by a bad summer and the Pukkelpop drama, Jill co-wrote her debut single ‘Summer Sucks’, which became an airplay earworm in July 2012, spending 8 weeks in the Ultratop chart. Jill’s EP Dark Paradise saw the light in 2016. It featured 5 new tracks, produced by John ‘Arsenal’ Roan, including the singles ‘Let The Right One In’ and ‘Fantasy’. In 2018, Jill is ready to ride a new wave with her new single ‘Game’, produced by David Poltrock. The track showcases a new strong vibe, enforced by an important message in its music video. For the new chapter in her musical trip, Jill went to the Bay of Biskaje where she wrote her new EP 'Vibin' with Milo Meskens, Steven Vergauwen and Ward Snauwaert. The entire EP breathes her roots as a surfer girl and the ocean, therefore, became the common thread and the sound of the record. This submerged in a happy, exotic and dreamy sound is what Jill Shaw stands for musically in 2022.
