Biography

Representing Jacksonville, Florida, as he grew up on the Northside of Duval County, where the street lifestyle is heavily influential to the path of the youth. From early on, Cory's father knew he needed to stray Cory away from the neighborhood activity and therefore introduced him, through records, to the "King of Pop," Michael Jackson. Michael, still having an influential impact on Cory's musical appreciation to this day, has allowed Cory to feel comfortable expressing his unique sound and personal representation as a multi-talented singer, songwriter, and audio engineer. Besides being ranked #1 for featured hooks on Beatstars back in 2016, Cory is most notable for having a distinct vocal-range ability and incredible penmanship. Cory continues to re-defy the sounds of R&B & Soul, similar to the likes of Chris Brown and Stevie Wonder. Having worked alongside Tory Lanez, Pretty Ricky, Snoop Dogg, and The-Dream, Cory Jones has put down the "work for hire" and has now rediscovered his passion for music as a recording artist and is gearing up towards his career debut.
