Biography
A husband-and-wife contemporary Christian/gospel duo, Jerard & Jovaun made their proper debut in 2017 with the single Higher Higher, and in 2019 followed up with an EP released on Motown Gospel entitled What A Beautiful Name after their acapella rendition (of the song with the same name) went viral on social media. The soul-stirring EP charted in the top 10 on Billboard's Top Gospel Albums. Prior to their artist debut, they performed on numerous live and studio BGV sessions with many artists including CeCe Winans, Bebe Winans Donnie McClurkin, Michael W. Smith, Disney, Amy Grant, Natalie Grant, Andrae Crouch, Don Moen, Kim Burrell, Michael McDonald, Wynonna, Jonny Lang, among countless others. Known for their versatility, several of their releases made waves in the music industry including The Potter's House , You're All I Need To Get By, We Three Kings (Motown Christmas), Hallelujah Chorus (featuring their son, Justin) and most recently No Troubled Hearts, Surely, and 'Till We Meet (2023). They are the proud parents of two sons, and both currently lead worship at Bethesda Community Church in Fort Worth,TX.
