    Not to be confused with the Swiss rapper of the same name, 9MM are a no-nonsense pure rock & roll outfit who have been described as Germany's answer to Motörhead thanks to their rowdy heavy metal sound. Also known as 9MM Assi Rock 'n' Roll, frontman Rock Rotten, guitarist Ritchie, bassist Maubi, and drummer Angel formed in Hanau in the mid-2000s, where they went on to support the likes of Slayer, Grave Digger, and Subway to Sally before releasing their debut album, Fegefeuer, in 2008 and sophomore Quo Vadis a year later. After performing at several major European rock festivals including Rock am Ring, Wacken Open Air, and Rock im Park, the band released Champagner, Koks und Nutten in 2010 and fourth effort Dem Teufel ein Gebet in 2011. ~ Jon O'Brien, Rovi
