Lea Rue is a Belgian singer-songwriter who broke through in 2015. With her first single 'I Can't Say No', Lea Rue immediately asserts herself and achieved amazing results. The song ended up at #2 in the Ultratop Single Charts and a remix by Norwegian dj’s Broiler topped the Scandinavian Single Charts. With 30 million streams worldwide, Lea Rue is one of the top 5 most streamed Belgian female artists. Her second single 'Sleep' reached also #2 in the Ultratop Charts. On top of that, the famous Belgian DJ Lost Frequencies made a remix of the song and renamed it 'Sleep, For The Weak'. That remix gained more than 16 million streams, leaving the rest of the world gearing up to equal this magic Belgian duo-success. After the singles 'River', 'Watching You' and 'Une Minute', Lea Rue recorded a Dutch song for the first time in her career. With the popular Dutch artist Jaap Reesema, she released 'Code Rood' in 2022. The song ended high in the Ultratop Charts, was nominated for 'Zomerhit' and has more than 3 million streams. This year, Lea Rue will again launch music in English and will release her new single 'Company' on January 20, a stunning indie-pop ballad. On February 10, Lea Rue will perform together with Amande Tenfjord, who participated with Greece in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2022, in La Madeleine in Brussels.
