Biography

Born on the 28th of April 1992 in Johannesburg South Africa, Dominic Neill had his first foray into the music industry finishing 6th in season 8 of Idols at the age of 19. Thrust into the top tier of the South African music industry almost on a whim meant he spent 3 or 4 years finding his feet, patiently releasing music through various projects in various forms, sizes and sounds. The first solo single called "Better Day" went on to be signed and released by the major label and enjoyed both radio play and streaming chart success. Following on from that, Dominic then went on to meet South African afro house legend DJ Kent and their record "Love You Still" subsequently grabbing a South African Music Award nomination for Record Of The Year in 2017. Off the back of this success label and publishing deals with Universal followed and Neill released his Debut album "Out Of My League" in the same year. Fast forward to 2018, Neill made the move from Johannesburg to Berlin in order to further bear the fruits of the connections he had made and broaden his horizons. "Almost Love" with James Carter hit 25 million plus streams on Spotify, closely followed by "Dancing In The Corner" with Roxy Tones on 14 million plus streams and a handful of other releases. The next step is to break out of the mould that he has made his own as purely a featured artist on DJ/Producer records and begin to build an artist project again into 2021 and beyond.
