    Biography

    Eva & Manu is a Finnish-French indie pop duo based in Helsinki. Having met at Berklee College of Music they started writing music together in 2010 while traveling through Europe in an old camper-van. The band has now won the hearts of Finnish Youth, singing for thousands and becoming one of today’s hottest Finnish indie pop act singing in English. In March 2012, the duo signed with Warner Finland and in August, they released their first album Eva & Manu — a collection of the tunes they composed on their travels — which topped the charts (Top 7), while the couple were nominated for “Best New Act” and “Best Album Cover” at the EMMA awards. In 2014 they emerged with a new album “Cinnamon Hearts”. 10 bolder, bigger pop songs infused with themes of friendship, regret, compassion and hope. Cinnamon Hearts struck a chord with a more varied and younger audience and their fame took off like wild fire. In summer 2015, Eva & Manu performed for thousands strong crowds at all the biggest festivals in Finland: Ilosaarirock, Provinssirock, Ruisrock, etc. With the universal acclaim they were getting from critics and the audience alike, Eva and Manu’s album easily topped the charts again. In autumn 2016, Eva & Manu were signed to EMI capitol and released two singles : “Alien” and “All these years”. Their EP is expected for fall 2018
