Biography
Dirty Backseat is an indie electronic/rock project founded by the Egyptian Record Producer & Songwriter "Moe Hani" in 2017. Ever since the project was founded Moe has been focusing on writing & recording songs -DIY style- from home blending his favorite styles/genres such as Garage rock, postpunk, Synth-pop, Synth-Punk & Electronica. DB's music has a broad range of styles & influences which varies from having a melancholic dreamy vibe using guitars, synths, washed-out vocals to high energy songs with using thick bass lines & gritty rhythms. DB started off as a post-punk/Garage Rock trio until 2019 where Moe took over the project on his own to turn into a solo artist. Currently Moe performs with a quartet band consisting of “Mallo” on bass & Synth, “Marwan” on drums & “Moose” on Synths & backings tracks.
