The Tales of Captain Crow, Chapter Seven
"A fateful encounter with the Red Bluster"
Wherein the reader will learn how the great Captain Crow
Lost his eye
Captain Crow and his mighty ship, met the fearsome Red Bluster
Beyond the known world, on the icy waters, north of the Silver Sea
As they battled, mighty swirls rose like mountains under dark skies
Cannons spat fire, and smoke, and warmed the gods
They fought on until days became weeks
The sea itself recoiled from such savagery
But neither side would give up fight
The seasons passed, and the coming of winter brought fierce storms
That battered the ship, mercilessly
Sleets and hail slashed at the sailors like daggers
But still the battle raged
Until finally 'The Inevitable' became lodged in ice, helpless
And only then was the most dreaded of the beasts
Able to strike a terrible blow that maimed both, ship and Captain
'The Inevitable' barely made it to port where it was repaired
But Crow would never be home
And he swore he would exert bloody revenge
That's quite a good story, isn't it?
I like the bit about the fire, and the smoke
And I'm sure that one day, Crow will find that beast
And give it a good sound thrashing
For, a hunter never gives up a fight
